Heute haben wir etwas ein wenig Ungewöhnliches für die Modellbaugemeinde: Martin Decarli, Inhaber des gleichnamigen tschechischen Kleinserienherstellers, hat ein neues Resinmodell der Cessna 172 herausgebracht – und er stellt es uns auch gleich selbst und höchstpersönlich vor. Kleinserie ist hier wörtlich gemeint: Wenn die vielleicht 100 oder 150 Bausätze verkauft sind, wird es keine neuen geben. Aber lest selbst. The floor is yours, Martin!

The new model Cessna 172 1/72 is resin, but its construction is very “model friendly”.
The windows do not have to be glued individually from acetate, but the cabin and the roof form a whole and are cast from polyurethane. The interior contains basic parts, seats, dashboard, “rams” and side padding.
The rest of the construction is very easy, The decals contain 2 attachments, one for marking the USAF and one for the Iraqi Air Force.
Although there are still about 40 old models from Arii on the market, they require large shape modifications (photos on bellow) Just look at the built model.
Cessna 172 DECARLI model is again produced in a very limited edition, 90 pieces. Once the model is sold, there will be no more series.
It is only for sale at Hannants and Aviationmegastore. It’s time for other projects, such as HK 36 Diamond Star. :-).
