Die SIG 200 ist ein Forum für alle Modellbauer, die Modelle im Maßstab 1:200 bauen, anfertigen, herstellen, oder sonst wie darstellen.
Ausdrücklich grenzt sich die SIG 200 von Sammlern reiner industrieller Fertigmodelle – oder deren Massenprodukten ab.
Was will die SIG 200?
Die SIG 200 will den Austausch von Informationen zwischen allen Interessierten auf der ganzen Welt ermöglichen. Insbesondere geht es um den Austausch von Informationen über: Hersteller, Bezugsquellen, Modelltypen, Tipps und Tricks beim Bauen, Conversionen, -Sets dazu, Decals und alles was mit diesem Maßstab zusammenhängt.
Dabei wollen wir den interdisziplinären Austausch zwischen den Gebieten
Flug,
Schiff und
Fahrzeug
herstellen.
Gibt es eine Historie der SIG 200?
Ja, die gibt es, wenngleich diese eher bei den Flugzeugerkennungsmodellen des WW II zu suchen ist.

Welches ist die Basis der SIG 200?
Viele Hersteller haben im Verlauf der letzten 70 Jahre Modelle im Maßstab 1:200 hergestellt. Heute sind diese mehr oder weniger nicht mehr bekannt.
Wir wollen in der SIG 200 ein Forum zum Austausch all dieser Informationen über vergangene oder zukünftige Modelle bieten.
Dabei sind wir natürlich auf die Mitarbeit unserer Fans und Mitglieder angewiesen. Auf unserer Homepage – basiert beim I.P.M.S.-Deutschland – haben wir zunächst eine Unmenge Basisinformationen zusammen getragen.
Wir bitten jeden unserer Freunde und Fans diese Informationen zu überprüfen und gegebenenfalls zu ergänzen, oder durch aktuelle Details anzureichern.

What is the SIG 200?
The SIG 200 is a forum for all model builders who build, manufacture, or otherwise represent models on a scale of 1: 200.
The SIG 200 is expressly differentiated from collectors of purely industrial finished, or mass products/models.
What does the SIG 200 want?
The SIG 200 wants to enable the exchange of information between all interested parties around the world.
In particular, it is about the exchange of information about: manufacturers, sources of supply, model types, tips and tricks for building, conversions, sets, decals and everything related to this scale.
We want to foster an interdisciplinary exchange between the areas of
Flight,
Ship, and
Vehicles.
Is there a history of the SIG 200?
Yes, there are, although this is more likely to be found in the aircraft recognition models of WW II.

What is the basis of the SIG 200?
Many manufacturers have made 1/200 scale models over the past 70 years. Today these are more or less no longer known.
In the SIG 200 we want to offer a forum for the exchange of all this information about past or future models.
Of course, we depend on the cooperation of our fans and members. On our homepage – based on I.P.M.S. Germany – we have initially put together a lot of basic information.
We ask all of our friends and fans to check this information and, if necessary, to supplement it, or to enrich it with current details.
