PILOT was already an offshoot of WIKING in WW II - however, the models were made in Denmark from white metal/tin.
WIKING boss Friedrich Pelzer and Pilot Cortensen's boss were friends and Pilot soon began producing their own models.
After WW II, Pilot's program expanded drastically.
With the kind permission of the team of authors, we are allowed to reproduce the attached brochure here and thus leave it to posterity.

PILOT war bereits im WW II ein Ableger von WIKING - allerdings wurden die Modelle in Dänemark aus Weißmetall/Zinn hergestellt.
WIKING-Chef Friedrich Pelzer und der Chef von Pilot Cortensen waren befreundent und alsbald stellte Pilot eigene Typen her.
Nach dem WW II erweiterte sich das Programm von Pilot drastisch.
Die anhängende Broschüre dazu dürfen wir mit freundlicher Genehmigung des Autorenteams hier abbilden und somit der Nachwelt überlassen.
